Smokey and Killa Ace, two of Gambia’s famous and popular group La Cosa Nostra, are currently in the country to promote their new album “Get Familiar Vol 1” that is now finally available.

Six young and innovative Gambian rappers who are based in different parts of the world have joined together and created a new hip-hop masterpiece that we can now enjoy.

Although living abroad, the artists haven’t forgotten where they are coming from and decided to help the Gambia’s first anti-AIDS child registered charity organization, Children against AIDS through the sales of their album. “It’s our obligation to support our young brothers and sisters in what ever positive things they do. We are ready to support Children against AIDS in their HIV/AIDS campaign,” said Smokey in an Observer interview.

Killa Ace, Ohm Noyr, Mad Barz, Gaindeh Njie, Smokey and Blakk Panta are promising and popular artists with great potential to promote Gambian rap throughout Africa and overseas.

If you don’t want to wait any longer go and get their new album now. Don’t know where or how? Get in touch with us and we help you get it.
