The proposed departure date of the National Youth Conference and Festival [Nayconf] Flag for the countrywide tour has been differed to another date.
According to the proposed plan the flag was expected to start moving today November 10 with SoS Faye handing over the flag to KMC. The decision to differ the tour was taken at the National Organising Committee [NOC] meeting yesterday at the Independence Stadium citing some technicalities that would be shorted out by next week.
The proposed date for the Flag tour is set for the 20th November 2006.
In another development some of the National Organising Committee members of Nayconf 2006 would embark in a nationwide tour today. The aim of the tour is to sensitise the regions of Nayconf activities specially the theme and sub-themes of the conference.
