Global Unification (GU) Youths Affairs chapter has recently been formed in The Gambia. Speaking recently to The Point, the youth affair coordinator in The Gambia, Mr Ebrima S. Dem, a student of the University of The Gambia, said Global Unification Youths Affairs has registered 29 members including public officials, students, farmers and women groups.

He said the main purpose for forming the organization in The Gambia is to build progressive relationships between the youth of the Gambia and those in other parts of Africa.

“We also have Global Unification - University of The Gambia chapter which is purposely for the students of the university,” he said, urging the youth to register with the organization as it is about building relationships, cooperation and youth development in the country and beyond.

Mr Dem also disclosed that they are presently operating a caretaker office on MDI Campus.
