Zimba Chacha International Cultural Group, a renowned cultural outfit actively engaged in the promotion of arts and culture world-wide, will stage live performances in Sweden come January 2007, Margit Ogebratt Lennstrong, manager of the group has revealed.

According to Mrs Ogebratt, who, herself, is an art composer, dancer and sculptress, the group will embark on a three-month musical trip to Sweden in January next year. She added that during their stay in Sweden, the group would be staging live performances, visiting schools, museums, cultural centres among others.

Mrs Ogebratt has been working in The Gambia for the past three decades. In 2003, she held a successful three-month art exhibition in The Gambia.
