Thursday December 7th 2006 will mark the forty day charity for the late Momodou Manneh; veteran Journalist who passed away in the United Kingdom on the 27 October 2006.

According to Ebou Manneh, son of the late Momodou Manneh, the forty day charity would be observed with recitation of the Holy Q’uran in their family compound in Dippa Kunda starting at 4pm.

It could be recalled that Late Modou Manneh passed away in the United Kingdom and was laid to rest in the Gambia on Saturday November 11th 2006.

The burial was attended by hundreds of well wishers who paid their last tribute to the decease whose contribution to Gambian sports and Journalism cannot be over emphasized.
