The trial of one Foday Jaiteh over allegation of threatening to kill his mother and brother is expected to resume January 15.
Foday was said to have been exasperated by his brother’s failure to hand over to him the money he (brother) collected and as a result, took a knife and threatened to kill his mother and brother.
He was last Tuesday arraigned at the Bundung Magistrate’s Court and charged with an alleged offence of threatening violence in contravention of the laws of the land.
He denied the allegation and was granted court bail to enable him gain his liberty in the meantime. He was nonetheless warned to be cautious and law-abiding as his case proceeds.
The case was presided over by magistrate B.O. Jobe.
