It all started in the new millennium. A friend of mine suddenly wanted to sell his computer, and asked me; I said yes, it was a bargain, and only 3 months old!

I got it home and first thing was the curiosity of the chat rooms. My first place I went to was a French chat room to see if my French was still as good as before.

Suddenly a box flashed in front of me and I clicked on it and there was a message written in English saying... Are you really from London? I said yes and asked where he was from, he replied" from America". I asked him "what are you doing in a French chat room?

He replied because he spoke French, I said so do I. We got chatting and found out that we both studied in France. We chatted for hours and I couldn't believe what we had in common and our likes/dislikes, our pasts etc He asked me if we could meet up the next day to chat, and we did, and we did for many months thereafter.
I couldn’t wait for the hours to pass, he was so interesting and a gentleman, and suddenly I was finding myself falling in love with this man. I didn't believe in romance over the internet and all that, so I left it as long as possible to tell him, until one day he told me he loved me.
I decided that I had to meet him in person, to find out for real whether this person is the person I thought he was. I spent 3 weeks with him in USA, and then a few weeks later, for a month, and then he came to me and a year later after spending time flying back and forwards several times to be with one another we got married here in England.

We in fact got married twice!

A small wedding then a big wedding for all the family. We are even getting blessed this year in America for all his family and friends. We have been married for a year now and my visa should be through in a month, so me and my 7 yr old son will be finally together with the love of my life.

It’s been very hard being apart, being together in two countries, but finally we will be a united family in the USA.

It must have been fate, the first person who I spoke to, and in a French chat room, well... Who would have thought?!
