The Gambia Football Association has urged all football academies in the country to submit the names and full addresses of the academies to the national football governing, not later than Friday, October 26, 2007.

A press release issued by the Gambia Football Association, signed by its CAF Education Officer, Mr Abdou Salaam Jammeh, solicits the precious cooperation and collaboration of all the stakeholders in the direction.

The football association ultimatum came at a time when numerous football academies continue to be unveiled without even liaising with the football association. The move is expected to not only control the establishment of half-baked football academies across the country, but to ensure standard and recognition.
