CWL Boss in Gambia for Landmark Conference

The Director of CWL International, Pastor Adeola Ilechukwu, is currently in The Gambia for the 2007 CWL annual conference to be held in conjunction with Dominion Faith Centre-The Gambia.

Pastor Ilechukwu, who flew into the country purposely for the conference on the theme The Transformed Woman, told this paper that the confab is a weekend programme with women. She added that her church had also visited other African countries like Ghana, South Africa, Cameroun and that conferences were held in London and Togo on two occasions by the women’s department of the ministry.

According to Pastor Ilechukwu, as part of the Gambia conference, women would be given the opportunity to participate in counselling sessions on Wednesday from 2-5pm. The counselling sessions, she went on, is for the people who need prayers, personal attention and help, adding that men could also avail themselves of the opportunity by partaking in the counselling sessions to be held at Dominion Faith Church off Westfield and would run from Wednesday to Saturday.

Pastor Ilechukwu said: “As a church, we’re in to help people have personal experience with God, transform lives of individuals and to restore a wholesome and healthy relationship. Our focus is on the woman and the family to transform the whole person and family.”

The pastor explained that discovery and fulfilling God’s purpose in their lives was a solution for a fulfilled life on earth.
