Dodou Janneh Alleged murder case deferred

The ongoing criminal case against Dodou Janneh allegedly accused of murdering one Sheriff Minteh this year’s May was on Tuesday October 23, 2007,   adjourned to October, 31st 2007, by senior   Magistrate Buba Jawo of the Bundung Magistrate’s Court.

Appearing before the court, Police Prosecutor Cpl 510 Touray, who held brief for Sergeant 772   Samateh informed the court that he is currently bereaved and would therefore apply for an adjournment of the case.  

In response, the Defence Counsel, Sheriff Tambadou told the court that “the matter is against his client in the IGP case, but not Prosecutor Samateh, unless we are told that they cannot proceed”.

It could be recalled that Mr Dodou Janneh, alias, Dodou Boy is facing trail for the alleged murder of the late Sheriff Minteh, aged, 20 of London Corner, who passed away on Wednesday May 9, 2007.
