The trial of Saidou Sey, who was arrested at Kanfenda police checkpoint for being allegedly found in possession of prohibited drug, could not proceed on Thursday thanks to the absence of the defense counsel from court.

Saidou is currently undergoing trial at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on suspicion of drug pushing.

According to details, the suspect was arrested in March of this year after he was allegedly found in possession of 50kg of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
