Gambia Scout Association Goes on Trial

Tuesday, November 6, 2007

The Gambia Scout Association literally goes on trial following a suit instituted against it.

Sanna Jawla and Yahya Jawla have dragged the Gambia Scout Association and one Modou Mendy to court as first and second defendants respectively.

The Jawlas are claiming the sum of D13,000 from the scout association and Mendy as payment to enable them attend a scout jamboree in the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Mendy had denied liability but the scout association was not represented in the court.

The case resumes November 26th.
