George will now be tried by the Bundung Magistrates’ Court on suspicion of obtaining money by false pretences.

He’s accused of obtaining 100 Euros from one Baboucarr Singhateh on pretext of securing him a visa.

He denies the charges and was given bail in the sum of D100,000. He must also produce a Gambian, who must meet the bail requirements, as surety.

The case would be chaired by Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara and the IGP would be represented by 772 Samateh.
