The Gambia Herbal organisation (Gho), the umbrella body of herbalists in the country thanked the Gambian leader, President Yahya Jammeh for his noble and indisputable pronouncement of curing Hiv/ Aids and asthma patients.

According to a press release from Baba Leigh the President of (Gho) said looking closely at the way and manner in which the Gambian leader do carry out his treatment, “we strongly have confidence on your cure and we are fully behind you in your endeavors. We hope that the commitment and determination you have towards ensuring a healthy nation with respect to the use of traditional medical treatment is uphold maitained, institutionalise and nationalise.

The release added that the cure of Hiv/Aids can only be discovered by herbal means.The GHO since its inception has been lobbying for empowerment of herbalists and incorporation of herbalism into the health care delivery systems. “We hope that your initative will be a mile stone for the upliftment of herbal medical practice from its current state to standards compare to regional and international level”
