Hawks United and Gambia Ports Authority Football Club, The Gambia’s FA Cup giants and League winners, respectively will return to action this weekend in the second round of the CAF club competitions.
Hawks will host Nigeria’s Dolphin FC in their first-leg encounter in the CAF Confederation Cup Championship on Saturday, March 3, at the Independence Stadium, while Gambia Ports Authority will travel to Lagos for their first-leg match against Nasarawa United in Champions League tourney on Sunday, March 4.
The Gambian sides put up a stellar performance in the preliminary round stages that admittedly saw both sides’ progress to the second round with brink of confidence.
