New country director for VSO

Mrs. Haddijatiou Lamin-Njie, a current employee of the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP), has been appointed as the new Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) Country Director in The Gambia.

Madam Lamin-Njie succeeded David Clamp who served for a three year contract with VSO. According to a report from VSO, David Clamp will be leaving for UK on May 8.

The report added that Madam Haddijatou Lamin-Njie will start work in early June upon the completion of the handing-over.
