Miss Jor Jeng and Miss Awa Jeng last Friday staged an art exhibition at Alliance Franco Gambiene on Kairaba Avenue.

According to Mr. Babucarr Cham, General Manager of City Limits Radio, who spoke on the occasion, the exhibition would create opportunity for fashion designers in the country to expose their talent and classic works that would match or satisfy all generations and seasons.

He commended the French Embassy in Banjul for supporting the two young dynamic designers in promoting and boosting the cultural development of The Gambia.

He encouraged the two ladies to keep up the good work, whilst congratulating them for their creativity and ingenuity.

The parents of the two sisters, France’s Charge d’ Affairs in Banjul Mr Francois Morel, and several dignitaries graced the occasion.

The items at the exhibition included casual dress for both ladies and gentlemen.
