The Gambia Tennis Association (GTA) will be organizing a ten day open tennis tournament from the 1st to the 10th June 2007 at the Tennis lawn of the Independence Stadium, Bakau.

A press release from GTA states that the tournament is open to all players of all ratings.

 The tournament will includes men and ladies singles, men doubles and mixed doubles adding that eligible competitors may take part in all the events if they wish and prizes will be presented to winners and runners-up in each section.

The release further stated that any interested person should fill in forms available at the clubs or at the Independence Stadium in Bakau and should be returned to Mr. Philips Akibogun together with an entry fee of D300.00 per person per event.
