Access Bank trains Gambian business women![]() Tuesday, June 12, 2007 Access Bank The Gambia, on Saturday June 2, organised a training session on Business Registration and Credit, through their Access Bank Gambia Women’s Self-Help Cooperative and Women Empowerment programme at a ceremony held at the presentation room of the Bank. The training, which is the first of a series of training programmes scheduled to take place this year, and also part of Access Bank’s Gender Empowerment Programme, in collaboration with the Gambia Women’s Self-Help Cooperative, gathered over forty business women who are, engaged in various business segments. The release further noted that topics covered during the course of the training included, steps/ procedures in the registration of women’s business and loan repayments in credit delivery (principles and rationale). The bank further revealed that the sessions were conducted in local languages.
