The first round of the 2006-2007 Gambia Football Association second Division league wrapped up last Friday.
Despite some teams having games in hand, the league seems to produce a good second round.
After the week nine matches, Samger FC still top the table following their 2-1 victory over Tallinding United at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium on Friday.
Ham Ham FC of Serekunda West continue their disappointing performance after a good start.
They last collected the three points on May 13, 2007 when they beat Jambanjelly 1-0 in the week five encounters. The Serekunda West boys later lost to their arch rivals Serekunda East 3-1, Tallinding United 1-0, Interior 1-0 and on Friday they were beaten by Brikama United 2-0 in a well attended game at the Box Bar mini stadium in Brikama.
