Mystic MC, a Gambian-born and Denmark-based reggae artist, is hitting it big on the international scene. The Kololi star is currently on a promotional tour of Europe and America for his second album entitled FOR SO LONG, which is due to be released in October of this year.

The tour will take him to Germany, Scotland, London, USA, Sweden and Denmark. He is expected to play four gigs in US: two in California, one in New York and another in New Jersey. He will also perform three shows in Denmark.

The tour, which kick-started on the 29thof June, will go up to the 17th November 2007. He will take a short break during the holy month of Ramadan.

The forthcoming album is the perfect introduction to what is happening in the world of reggae music today. Here, it is again from ragamuffin dancehall fever, cool lovers rock and culture.

The album is produced by Mystic MC’s own record label called Sky Records.

“We want the music to do all the talking. No-one get stuck between the grooves; strictly serious sounds which, apart from enjoyable listening and partying, will also serve as a reference to some of the finest reggae from the root sources of Jamaica and down to Africa with the Western collection,” says Mystic MC.

Six promotional singles have been released and are currently being aired in all the radio stations across the country, prominent among the songs are DO YOU, featuring Rebellion and Mandingo and the CHILDREN, featuring Hurricane and Tomorrow from the Smiling Coast Riddim.
