The Youth Association Against Malaria (TAYAM) last Thursday organised a one day micro planning of bednet retreatment in the Western Region and the Greater Banjul Area.
Speaking to the Daily Observer, Musa Ceesay, Acting Managing Director of TAYAM said that they are targeting the treatment of over 50,000 bednets in the Western Region and the Greater Banjul Area as part of the final phase of this year’s malaria campaign.
According to him they were able to achieve 10% of the target last year and are hope to cover 80% this year.
Mr Ceesay then called on members of the community to coperate during the course of the exercise.
