Thursday, September 6, 2007

Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday adjourned the alleged murder trial of Tabara Samba until 11th September, 2007, to enable both the defence team and the prosecutor to make their addresses in court.

When the case was called, Amie Joof-Conteh, one of the defence lawyers,  told the court that, she was going to make her address, since she wanted Dr Ceesay of the RVTH to provide the court with his medical file, which he did not bring along to court.

In reply, Police Commissioner Burama Dibba, who is prosecuting the case, informed the court that, he was ready to address the court.

Presiding Magistrate Jammeh then adjourned the case to 11th September, 2007 for the Prosecution and the defence to make their addresses in court.

The trial continues.
