The 2007 Western Union sponsored Nawettan league in Serekunda West has reached climax after six weeks of real competition.
With eight games to go before the end of the group matches, some big names are still struggling to get their tickets to the next round.
In the exception of Saal-Bi, Gamstar Giants, Unicorns, Kanifing Estate, New Jeshwang, Kanifing United, Gintos and Pipeline, all the other big teams are struggling to avoid relegation.
In group A, three teams namely New Jeshwang United, Pipe Line and Gintos have each five points and are looking for the two spots to the next round.
Kanifing Estate is the only team in-group B that has collected five points. The other four teams in the group namely Jollof, SK Central Ngoyan and Luzan have each two points.
In group C Unicorns of Ebo Town, 7 points, have already booked their place in the next round, Kanifing United are at the second place with 5 points. Ajax and Manjai United are at the 4th and 5th position with 4 and 3 points respectively.
In-group D Saal-Bi, 9 points and Gamstar Giants, 6 points have already booked their place in the next round.
Sankung Sillah, Pencha Bi and Boyz United are battling to avoid relegation.
