Ousman Jallow: 2007 National Sports Journalist Most Outstanding Football Player Of the year

This award winner was born October 21 1988 in The Gambia. He is one of the export talents nurtured in The Gambia by Gambian coaches for the world market. This deadly striker is admired by all football fans.
 
He helped the national U-17 side to glory in 2005 when The Gambia hosted the CAF championship. He was a member of the Youth Gambia national football team and participated in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The gentleman received his first cap for the senior national team on September 9, 2007. In that game, he helped The Gambia to a two- one win over Algeria. Wallidan, his former local club will remember him for the many goals he scored for them and league tiles he bagged with them.

He is currently serving a five year contract with Al Ain FC in the United Arab Emirates.
