In their drive towards the fullfilment of their obligations, the Mansakonko Area Council recently undertook the construction of a district tribunal for Jarra West in Lower River Region.

In an interview with the Daily Observer, Baba K Jobarteh, chief executive officer of the Mansakonko Area Council said the district tribunal project costs D280,000. According to Mr Jobarteh, the project is at an advanced stage and will soon be completed .

“If people pay their tax on time, we will be able to undertake a lot of development projects in Lower River Region,” he reiterated.

He called on the parastatals  to pay their property rates and operational fees.

“We also rehabilitated a feeder road from Pakaliba to Barrow Kunda,” he concluded.
