Sanna Singhateh, aka the Street Thug, is another young musician struggling to reach stardom.

Born in Pipeline, a suburb of Serrekunda in the late 80’s he took on the name Street Thug which perfectly matches his rap style. He started his elementary school in Bakoteh Lower Basic, then attended Jamisa Lower Basic where he became the Head boy.

After graduating from Nusrat Senior Secondary School in 2007, his interest in music, especially the hard-core rap genre, continued to grow extensively. At a very tender age, Street Thug, would sometimes isolate himself from everyone and rap lyrics from Tupac and B.I.G. Sanna then began writing songs and lyrics for other artists. The talented youngster released his first single in February 2007.
