All work no play makes Jack a dull a boy. It’s against this common saying that secondary schools engage in annual inter-house sports competition to not only create fun but also to refresh the minds of the teacher and the pupils alike.

One school whose day-long competition remains on the lips of everyone is Latri Kunda Upper Basic School.

The popular school held its annual inter-house fiesta on Thursday at the Independence Stadium, where its teachers were joined by fascinating pupils for an all-fun-day. Not even the school headmistress, Mrs Mary Allen, was left behind.

Six Houses namely; Red House, Green House, Blue House, Brown House and White House competed fiercely in the various field and track events.

After a keenly contested competition, Red House prevailed on 306 points, just 14 points ahead of Green House which finished on 292 points.

Blue House grasped the third spot on 239 points, while Brown and White Houses completed at the bottom with both sides tied on 154 points.
