The Gambia’s music industry will soon witness a landmark development as Pa Omar Jack strives harder to put the finishing touches to his new album.

Currently, The Gambia’s Mbalax sensation is in studio working on his 6-track album that will mark another significant phase in the promising Mbalax star’s career.

Before the process on the up-coming album, which includes an Africell jingle, Pa Omar Jack released a hit-album entitled Fish & Chips which had enjoyed quite a lot of airtime on local FM radio stations.

Due to his busy-schedule ahead of the release of the 6-track album, to be entitled Love Meter, Pa Omar could not be reached for immediate comments but his assistant manager, Pa Malick Secka, told Entertainment that, once released, the album is expected to be enthusiastically received by the Mbalax-loving public.

“The album is expected to attract both local and international market,” he posited. Meanwhile, the production of Love Meter is funded by Africell.

It would be recalled that Pa Omar Jack was recently in the UK where he staged performances in the Gambia Carnival organized by Yaram Arts. His first album was entitled Niiniyo.
