The criminal case involving Omar Ndow, former managing director of the Gambia Telecommunication Company Limited (Gamtel) could not proceed on Tuesday because the presiding Principal Magistrate B Y Camara is reported to be on leave.
However, both the defence and prosecution were informed that the case is yet to be assigned to another magistrate for continuation.
It could be recalled that Mr Ndow was recently acquitted on the first count of economic crime, but is being tried on the second count involving alleged abuse of office.
