Two Gambians off To Ghana as Match Commissioners

Two Gambians, namely Jammeh EK Bojang Secretary General of the Gambia Football Association and Mr. Badou Jasseh the President of the Gambia Football Referees Association will be leaving Banjul for Ghana tomorrow Friday 4th of April 2008 to officiate in CAF confederation cup as match commissioners.

Jammeh EK Bojang, speaking to Pointsports, said both of them will be officiating different games as match commissioners. He said Badou Jasseh will be the match commissioner in the game between Assanti Gold of Ghana Vs JS Kabylie of Algeria, while he will be the match commissioner for the game between Assanti Kotoko of Ghana and Witi Tourist of Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup. These games are expected to be played during the weekend.

Meanwhile in another development the Pointsports has learned that next week all GFA national league games that were slated to take place at the Independence Stadium will be move to the various grounds around the greater Banjul Area. This is linked with the ongoing work at the Independence Stadium.
