Alain won’t let Ous Jallow leave

Abu Raghash, a senior member of Alain FC, has reassured the club’s fans that versatile striker, Ousman Jallow, will still be with the club come next season.

The Gambia international has been the fans idol after a brilliant display in the United Arab League, and some club faithfuls are sceptical that the former Wallidan ace may be lured away from Alain who have just settled for a trophy-less season.

Asked whether Jallow, who has eleven goals to his name so far, will leave the club at the end of the season, Abu said, that decision always depends on the final evaluation that happens at the end of the season.

“But taking into consideration that Ousman Jallow is still on contract even after the end of this season and the performance he showed make him so relevant that he will be retained,” he said.

Alain had planned to naturalise the former Gambia Under-17 skipper so that the team can use another foreign professional, but Abu Raghash insists the plan cannot materialise simply because the striker has already starred for the Scorpions at the senior level.

“It is not that easy to naturalise Osman Jallow, as you know he had already played with his national team in the famous match against Morocco where he lost a penalty, that means UAE national team will not benefit from his naturalisation in anything, and that is the main thing Alain Club is keen to be certain of,” he said.

“In fact different clubs already made that move with players that could not be that much of a benefit to the National team, yet with Alain Club, things are completely different,”

As part of their plans  for the next season, Alain will be building a new stadium in a new location with set of playgrounds dedicated to football activities.
