Mauritanian Musical Group Participates In Roots Festival

Thewave-makingMauritanianMusicalapostlecommonlyknownasDiddalJaalal,hasstronglyparticipatedinthejustendedInternationalRootsFestivalinthecountry. The Festival whichisanannualevent,wasorganisedbytheDepartmentofTourismandCulture through the NationalCouncilforArtsandCulture.

Speaking to‘Entertainment’ onthelastdayoftheFestivalatMakasutu, theheadoftheMauritanianMusicalGroup,Ba DjibrilNgawa,hassaidthattheFestivalisagrassrootsworkforanycultural.

Touching onthenumberofalbumshisgrouphas released so far, TheGroupLeaderpromisedtorelease analbumsoon. He saidthealbum aboutto be released isentitled ‘Concern’anditwill befeaturingHIVAIDS, Childhood, Friendship, Environmentalprotectionandequalitybetweenmenandwomen.
