GAF and KMC Clash in Sunday’s NISA Final

The Gambia Armed Forces and KMC will take face each other on in the finals of the National Inter –Departmental Sports Association on Sunday June 22nd at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium.

A Mouthwatering prize of D12,000 with a trophy  awaits the winner of the 6th edition of the tournament.   The runners up will go home with D8,000 and a trophy, while the third place holders will receive an amount of D6,000 with a trophy.

Other prizes include the leading goal scorer and most disciplined team who will receive a cash prize of D1000 and a trophy respectively.

The finals will also witness the opening of the 2nd edition of the female tournament between Immigration and Social Security and Housing Finance Co-operation. This trophy is named after President Jammeh and is sponsored by Speaker of the National Assembly, Fatoumatta Jahumpa Cessay.

The Secretary of State for Youths and Sports Mass Axi Gye will take the official kick off for the male final. And that of the female side will be done by FJC.

It will be recalled that Senegambia were the winners of the first edition of the championship in 2003.  Immigration, GNG, Gamtel and GCAA  also had a taste of the title in the second, third, fourth and fifth editions respectively.
