A hard-fought 1-0 win over Kaira Silo in the GFA Second Division Week Sixteen fixture saw Brikama United reclaimed the top spot with only two matches remaining.

The Western Region side, now at 29 points, need the maximum points in their remaining matches in order to take up one of the vacant spots left by Ports Authority and Interior in the GFA Division One League.  

Hot on the heels of Brikama side are Tallinding United, whose recent victory over Jambanhjelly saw them stay on course for their second promotion to the top flight.
