Gintos, Pipeline & Kanifing Lead the Charge

In the ongoing Nawettan at Serekunda West, Gintos, Pipeline and Kanifing Estate are leading their various groups and have booked qualification to the next stage.

Bakoteh giants Gintos are currently on seven points in group A following two wins and a draw. Luzan are second with six. Pencha, Boyz United and Camble Town are all at 5, 1 and zero points respectively.

In Group b Pipeline have already claimed the top spot with eight points and so far have the highest points. Ajax are second with three. Gamstar, Saalbi are each on 2 points. The German boys are at the bottom of the group with a single point.

Group C still remains undecided as four teams Kanifing United, Unicorns, Tigers, Ngoyan are all holding three points with three more matches to go.

In group D, Kanifing Estate the leaders after grabbing seven points. But this group is equally not decided as other contenders Jollof, Old Hand, Poolbi and New Jeshwang are still struggling to catch up with Estate. 

As part of the weekend games, Unicorns defeated Ngoyan 2-1 on Sunday.  Unicorns Ahmed Camara   netted both goals in the first and second half.

Ngoyan’s consolation came through Sulayman Suwareh.

In the upcoming games, New Jeshwang United will take on Old Hands today. The Poolbi and Jollof clash is scheduled for Tuesday.

Boyz United will take on Camble Town on Friday.
