With a must win affair against Liberia on Saturday, Scorpions Coach Paul Put is optimistic that the team will beat Liberia.

He said, “the players are ready to fight for victory which will certainly see them through to the second group stage of the qualifiers”.

 He described Saturday’s game as not an easy one as both teams will be going for glory.

Coach Put however, stressed the need for the boys to take the match seriously and capitalise on their chances.

Group 6 is led by Senegal followed by Algeria. The Gambia is also faced with a difficult situation as any of the top three contenders could be potential qualifiers.
