A 5-month old child, Muhammed Bentang Jallow of Tabokoto, is currently in dire need of assistance to go for treatment abroad.

According to a medical report from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH), Muhammed was on 15th August 2008, brought to the RVTH’s paediatric outpatient department with a swelling extending from his left temple to his jaw. The swelling was noted to have commenced as a small swelling which has progressed over time, the report added.

On the basis of the diagnosis made, Muhammed will need to proceed to a dedicated paediatric neuron-ontology surgical unit abroad for definitive intervention since such operations are not possible here for now.
