Abuko United Beat Rangers To Qualify In SK East Knock-Out

Abuko United Beat Rangrs FC had booked a place in the ongoing Serrekunda East Knock-out Championship by a lone goal last Monday at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium.

Abuko United that were determined and hungry for a victory open the scoring through Striker Modou Barrow in the 12th minute of the game in an action-packed game.

Rangers FC fought to the best of their ability but failed to capitalise on their scoring chances.

Mohammed Sanyang had a clear scoring opportunity to level the advantage but failed to convert a clear scoring opportunity.

And upon resumption, both sides created wonderful scoring chances in each other’s goal mouth but their efforts proved futile in both intervals and the game ended one nil in favour of Abuko United that will be playing in the next stage of the championship.

Earlier on Sunday, Bantankoto FC defeated Medina FC by 4-2 on penalty shoot-out after the normal time ended one apiece at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium.
