One Abdou K. Conteh was last Tuesday arraigned before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court charged with rash and negligent act.

According to the particulars of the offence, on 11th June 2009, at Kunkujang Keitaya village, the accused Abdou K. Conteh drove a motor vehicle with registration number 2478 and knocked one Husaifa Ceesay thereby causing his death.
He denied the charge.

Meanwhile the accused was remanded in custody.

The case was adjourned to 29th June 2009.
