Please, allow me space to make an appeal to the appropriate authorities for action against what I see as an unjustifiable development by dealers in fuel.

After sometime now fuel price has remained high in The Gambia despite the situation at world market.  When fuel price increased, it affected prices of all goods. We, like the rest of the world, had to accept the status quo.

But since it has been noted that prices of fuel have been reduced in the world market, we expect that this will be reflected at the local level.

I am appealing, therefore, for action against dealers in this commodity in an effort to resolve the situation in order to ease the transportation problems that come alongside increase in fuel prices for all.
