As part of the matches played earlier, the Veterans who took on Asia XI earlier on Sunday broke another record in the competition so far.
After winning thetoss the veterans decided to bat and scored 305 runs, highest score in this competition.
This team has maintained a consistent record of scoring above 200 runs in all their matches in the competition.
Mr. Zaccheaus Akila scored the first century in the competition with 127 runs and batted for 30 overs. He bowled 7 overs and got 2 wickets for 56 runs. Mr. Alfred Crooks, one of the anchor of the team, scored a half century.
Asia XI batted next and could only manage 275 in their allotted 35 overs with Mr. Amurith Kurien scoring 70 runs. Their best bowler was Mr. Munal, 7 overs 4 wickets for 69 runs.
On Saturday Gambia Ports Authority strolled past Wallidan after winning the match in the 33rd over with four wickets remaining. The highest scorer for GPA was Aniru Conteh who scored 53 runs. Seedy Darboe bowled 7 overs and got 5 wickets for 39 runs.
Wallidan who first went in to bat, recorded 214 runs in their allotted 35 overs all out, with Moses Bahoum scoring 75runs. He bowled 7 Overs and got 2 wickets for 52 runs.
