Boost For Education, Youth SectorsFriday, September 18, 2009 The Government of the Republic of China on The money is earmarked for the country’s education and youth sectors. In presenting the cheque, on behalf of his government, the Taiwanese Ambassador to The Gambia, H.E. Richard Shih, expressed delight in making the presentation. According to the Taiwanese diplomat, the two sectors are very crucial for the development of any country. He hailed the friendly ties that exist between The Gambia and In receiving the cheque, on behalf of the Secretary-General and Head of the Civil Service, Dr. Njogu Bah, the Secretary to Cabinet thanked the government of “These are two important areas for the government,” he stated. Mr. Ebrima Camara, the Permanent Secretary at the Office of the President moderated the ceremony.
