Boy 9 needs assistanceSunday, March 01, 2009 Lamin Jallow, a nine-year-old boy, resident of Serrekunda is in dire need of financial assistance to go for an overseas treatment. Lamin Jallow who was recently discharged from RVTH, was diagnosed with tumor of the knee. According to the RVTH medical report, Lamin was admitted with a big tumor in the knee and thigh. It is painful disease with the palpitation and collateral circulation constrained. He cannot move the knee and the hip. From the physical examination, the medical report revealed that his respiration is sometimes difficult, but the abdomen and all other organs are normal. Since the amputation and hip disarticulation will not be enough for him and will not solve the condition, the family is now seeking assistance from private individuals, NGOs and all other stakeholders.
