Cattle Rustlers, Accomplice Surrenders to the Police

Information reaching this paper has it that Kemo Sowe, a partner of the four reportedly arrested recently in Banyaka village over allegation of cattle rustling, has given himself up to the police after almost a week on the run.

Kemo Sowe and Legay Sowe were said to be the accomplices to be on the run.

It would be recalled that four people, Abdou Magid Sowe, a Senegalese national, Modou Yerro Jallow, a Guinean national, Pateh Sowe and Ebrima Jallow Gambian nationals, were reportedly nabbed by the villagers of Banyaka village in Kombo South over allegations of cattle rustling.

They are all currently held in custody at the Brikama Police Station.

Meanwhile it could not be established as to whether Pateh Sowe who was arrested for allegedly aiding Kemo Sowe to make his escape from arrest has been set free at the time of going to press.
