The Gambia Under 17 and Real de Banjul striker, Ebrima Bojang, has revealed he is "proud" of reported interest from big clubs like Italian giants Inter Milan and Premier League side Tottenham Spurs.

The 16-year-old is reported to be a target for Inter Milan, who have  been alerted by Bojang’s form in just concluded African Under 17 Championship, where he helped The Gambia clinch the gold trophy. The teenager was exceptionally impressive during the biannual event, scoring four goals in five matches including the final in which the Baby Scorpions beat hosts Algeria 3-1 to earn the nation’s second-ever youth nations cup.

Observer Sports understands that Bojang has already been offered a trial at the San Siro by the charismatic Inter Milan coach, Jose Mourinho, while he will also head to Tottenham later this month when visa issues have been resolved. “I was happy to hear that Inter Milan and Spurs are following me. It is is great honour for me because it reminds me that people appreciate my efforts on the pitch,” the tall-lanky striker told Observer Sports.

Bojang said his Real de Banjul officials may have an influence on which club he would head to, but admitted Inter Milan would be a better choice, having in mind the difficulties most players face in securing work permit in England. “I would prefer Inter Milan to Spurs because it is very hard to get a work permit in England.

I know I am a young player and I have a  long way to go, but it will be at my advantage to play in Italy where I will I face little difficulty in acquiring a work permit,” Bojang concluded.
