Monday, October 19, 2009

The Point has learnt through impeccable sources that Mr. Ebrima Ansu Tamba Jammeh of Illiasa constituency in the North Bank Region has been appointed as the new Chief of Upper Baddibu, effective from 14th October 2009.

Mr. Jammeh, a businessman, now replaces the late Alhagie Foday Sarr, who passed away recently.

Confirming the story, Edward Seckan, the Governor of the North Bank Region advised the new chief to be loyal to the APRC government and always be supportive of the party.

“I assure him of my office’s support at all times,” he concluded.
