Fansu Drammeh Edges Pass Lamin Gibba To Reach Caddy Golf Final

Fansu Drammeh yesterday defeated Lamin Gibba seven up and six holes to join Nuha Saidy, Edi Jammeh, Omar Jadama, Ebou Jarjue, Ousman Bah and Bakary Njie in the Caddy Golf Tournament final, slated for Sunday 18th October 2009 at the Fajara Golf Club.

The keenly-contested game was characterised by delight, exhibition of skills and talents that had attracted a large number of golf lovers and players. But Fansu Drammeh was the lucky man of the day as he defeated Lamin Gibba seven up to six holes. Fansu Drammeh yesterday defeated Lamin Gibba in their play-off game seven to sail into the final on Sunday.

The organising committee of the championship are calling on golf fans and lovers and the pubic to come in their large to witness the much-anticipated Caddy Golf Tournament final. They assured the finalists that the final game would be free and fair, urging them to maintain discipline and tolerance during the final game.

The winner of the championship would go home with D 2,000, while runners-up and the third place holder would receive D1, 500 and D500, respectively, and the longest drive participants nearest to the pin, will each receive D500.
