Former Convict Appears in Court

Mr Mansurr Bah, who was convicted by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for stealing, is in trouble again.

He was last Wednesday arraigned before the Brikama  Magistrates’ Court presided over by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh charged with intent to commit a felony, to wit stealing contrary to section 282 of the criminal code cap 10 volume III Laws of The Gambia.

According to the particulars of the offence, on or about the 12th March 2009, at Brikama Kombo Central, the accused Mansurr Bah entered in the dwelling house of one Bun Touray with intent to commit a felony.

When the charge sheet was read to him and interpreted in the language he claimed to understand,  he pleaded guilty to the charge.

At that juncture the case was adjourned to the 8th April 2009.

Meanwhile the accused was remanded at Mile II State Central Prison.
