Participants from four senior clubs and three satellite clubs from schools, of The Gambia Taewondo Association were recently engaged in grading exams.
Sulayman Jobe, secretary general of The Gambia Taewondo Association told Pointsport that general grading is carried out by the association every six months for participants from white belt up to black.
He said, “the grading was successful and if participants keep up their performances, Taewondo will be able to represent The Gambia at international competitions”.
“All of them made it to the next stage after passing their exams. Some with white went to yellow, the yellow belt holders went to orange. Others made it from orange to green, green to blue, blue to brown and brown to black.”
